Hi. Welcome to my website. I’m Martin Downton, a Web Developer originally from Malvern in the United Kingdom but I now live and work in Manchester. I currently work at Fluid Creativity and have been making websites professionally since September 2008. You can read more About Me here.

I’m not going to fill this site up with how amazing I think I am – I don’t think I’d meet the desired code to content ratio! – it’s more just a place for experimenting with new techniques, demonstrating what I can do and writing down things I come across that I think need sharing.

I intend to blog about Magento, WordPress and Formula One if I get around to it, but will most likely write about anything that is relevant or interesting within the digital/creative industry. During  2011 I am attempting to complete the Post a Week 2011 initiative that WordPress.com have started (along with Post a Day 2011 which was 7 times too much commitment for my liking).
